Showing Her Independence

I have to admit everyone, my little Angel Face is getting harder!  As soon as she hit 9 months she's throwing me for a loop.  She can make me so happy and my heart just melts, or she drives me crazy.  Another way to put it "the highs are high, the lows are low".
She cries harder, louder, and more often.  She gets frustrated easy, yet when she's successful she is so excited.  She only wants to feed herself, she swats the spoon away.  Diaper changes and lotion rub downs she despises (that's nothing new).  She can't stand being in her car seat for too long.  I could go on...but is this sounding familiar to anyone out there?  I know these are all part of motherhood.  I just have to remember I "happily" signed up for this.

Isn't it crazy how every time we get comfy they throw something new in the mix? I remember during that stage trying to think of how Heavenly Father must feel as we try to be independent too. :)

Good luck! You will survive!

Little babies...they are so hard but so fun. It is crazy how that is, but I guess all my favorite things I sometimes need a break from!

She was great at the zoo! I hope she stayed asleep for your ride home :) Every kid has their days... today was NOT a good day for Mason :( But it's a good day for me because Tyler started school! By the way, I read Eclipse in two nights at mom's house... I changed my mind, I really liked it! Now I just have to find a copy of Breaking Dawn to borrow...

Glad I'm not alone - but she is cute! You just have to make it through the first year and then it gets better. That's what I keep telling myself! We're enjoying keeping up with your life from afar.

I can totally understand where you are coming from! Motherhood can be so joyful one second and completely maddening the next. Plus, I think baby girls add a little more drama. We should get our girls together sometime!

P.S. How is work?
