It was our second Saturday at the Provo Farmer's Market and boy did it go a lot smoother. We worked out most of the bugs from last week. Better set up, no electrical problems, easier ways to pour the batter, more efficient way to keep the syrup frothy, etc.
I did miss my dad and mom this week, they were on vacation. My dad kept our spirits high last week by being the funniest cashier/sample man on the planet. And my mom ran about five different emergency errands for us. Next time you help, it will be fun, I promise.
Our husbands were by our side this time. They put up with me bossing them around (I make a good chief). Jake, (Hayley's husband) makes in with all the Spanish speaking vendors and trades our waffles for delicious and authentic good eats. Hayley and I are learning so much about running a small biz. It's so emotional. Up and down. But some serious fun! I love working with my sister! If only my other sister could live by us....perhaps this summer she can help us out once or twice when she visits.
I wish it was closer to Salt Lake (next year...cross fingers), so my friends could stop by. Luckily Hayley's friends and family have shown some awesome support.
