Antelope Island

A couple Sundays ago we were really getting cabin fever and just needed to get out, so we decided to go for a ride.  Heather and Darren joined us on a little field trip to Antelope Island.  It was pretty boring except when we were stopped in the road by crossing bison.  It was pretty cool to get so close to them.  You can't really tell, but when I took this picture, Phillip was nervous and kept telling me to hurry.  Scared maybe?  The funny this about this drive is that I have worked at "Antelope Elementary" for 6 years which is 10 minutes away from the Island, yet this is my first time ever stepping foot on the Island (that I can recall).  By the way, it's super stinky.

So, Antelope Island. Yeah...not so scenic! Although, if you like to bike, you and Phillip should bike the "road" out there, (I don't know what it's called)....that is pretty fun. Jane is BEEEEAUTIFUL by the way.

Hey Tiff! It's Heidi (Danielson) again!
I had no idea you were at Antelope Elementary! It's a mile from our home in Layton! Our elementary will be Sand Springs! You should come by and visit us next time you are in Layton! Where are you living now?
