"Hi Daddy"

Jane said her first sentence today "Hi Daddy".  Phillip had just gotten home.  Jane heard the garage door, looked up from playing and whispered real excited "Daddy".  She waited at the top of the stairs for Phillip to come around the corner and she said with the most excited voice and clear as day "Hi Daddy".  It just melted Phillip and I.  She is so cool.

Just this past week Jane has done so many new things.  First, I took her to the toddler park and she went up the steps, across the bridge, and down the slide, all by herself.  I was so proud of my little Jane.  Second, she has started to throw tantrums.  It's awful.  If I tell her to stop doing something, she gets really upset, throws herself on the ground, and cries bloody murder (watching me out of the corner of her eye).  I just ignore it.  So far it hasn't lasted more than 2 minutes.  Thank goodness!  I hate that.

So precious, I love when they can start communicating. And yeah the tantrums are a fun stage, unfortunatley we are still dealing with them. I hope all is well with you, your little Jane is adorable.
