New York Highlights Day 1

{Bed and Breakfast 414}

When we arrived in NYC we hopped on my first taxi ride ever and it brought us to our hotel. We got out of the car and this is what we saw. Adorable. You can't beat the price for staying in the heart of the theater district. We loved it. Cute and very clean. 5-10 minute walk to time square and most theaters.

{Double Decker Sight Seeing Tour Bus}

Since we arrived early Monday morning, we wanted to aquaint ourselves with this concrete jungle by taking a tour of all the bouroughs. It was nice to sit back and get our barrings. We went from Midtown, to downtown (financial district) up and around Central Park then back to the time square and saw everything inbetween. These buses are everywhere in NYC, you can hop on and hop off as you like. We loved it.

{TKTS}

The TKTS ticket office is in the middle of time square. It's a great way to get day of discounted tickets to musicals and plays. We came here everyday.

{Rockefeller Plaza}

Had to see where the Today Show and Saturday Night Live is taped.

{View From the Top of the Rock}

To the North...Central Park.
To the South...Empire State Building.
Beautiful...

{Pricilla Queen of the Desert}

First Broadway Show we saw. Entertaining. Great music. Cool Bus.

{Amy's Bread}

Ended the night by getting the most delicious piece of chocolate cake with white sugar frosting at a bakery around the corner from our B&B. Dangerous. We went here a lot!
