I was just driving home from the gym and glancing back at my darling little Paisley, thinking "Boy you are looking older all of the sudden...oh crap, it's your birthday today!". I admit, I totally forgot. I just called Phillip and asked him, "Do you know what today is?" pause, pause, pause. Then he just started laughing, a guilty laugh. We both forgot. I even made plans to go out with some girlfriends tonight. Oops. I think the reason I forgot is because I've been so focused on a birthday party for Phillip and Paisley on July 13th. Lot's of my family will be in town then so I moved her birthday in my mind 'till next week, so I'm not that awful of a mom.
Happy Birthday to our little Paisley! We seriously love you so much and can't imagine our family without you.
The top picture was taken one year ago and the bottom picture was taken just yesterday, one year later.

A year already?!?! Sheesh! That went by fast! Also I don't think it counts as forgetting if you have plans to celebrate a different day. :D That's what I'd tell myself anyway.
I agree with Amy! She is so adorable! I can't believe she is 1! And Bee is coming up on it too! This is my favorite age! Have you been to the splash park yet?? We should go!
